Hail Vikings,

The raids of the Vikings will arrive a month earlier than expected.

Not March but February you need to put in your agendas.

Yesterday they did the last finishing touch for season 3, and boy are they excited as we are to see the result of season 3.

The wait is almost over and we can finally enjoy our beloved characters of Vikings.

What will happen next?

Will Floki betray another king?

Will Lagertha get married to Ragnar again or will she marry King Eckbert?

How are raids on Paris going to look like?

Who will die half way this season?

Will Bjorn marry Porunn?

Will Floki except his daughter?

Will there arrive new babies?

What about Auslaug?

Where is Princes Kwyndreth up to? 

What will happen to Athelstan?

Will Rollo be equal to his brother?

Will Floki be king?

Is Thorsten still alive?

It is up to the writers which questions are answered.

Until this happen I think they will reveal a couple of things I hope maybe a teaser trailer will come soon.

It will definitely be worth the wait.

Vikings season 3 close to end filming

After six months of filming. The Viking cast is now in the last two weeks shooting. after that it will be waiting for us until March. There will be one main character who is going to die we don't know who yet. Rumours are gone wild about this especially because we missed three of the main characters at Comic-Con. Siggy, Athelsthan and Floki.

I haven't figure it out yet. But I have my opinion for two of them. For Floki and Athelstan there is an explanation both in different ways. If you see the trailer it explains a lot of the mythology of Loki as Floki is the trickster for Vikings and often related to Loki. George Blagden plays Athelstan and has taken the TV series role for Versaille and could have gone because of the time. So I leave in the middle who will die because it is just a suggestion. For Siggy I haven't got a clue.

I cannot wait for it and I know all the fans of Vikings can't. Please come soon season 3.

King Horik

When we first meet King Horik it is halfway through season 1 in Upsalla. King Horik is at that time King of Denmark. He is not the first one who will betray Earl Ragnar. He is seeking an alliance with Ragnar first when he is in continuous war with Jarl Borg. He will betray Ragnar after a while because of power he sees Ragnar is influential and want something different than he does. He start to alliance with Jarl Borg because the only thing he wants to see is Ragnar dead.

When Ragnar Blood Eagled Jarl Borg King Horik disguise him for his action and start to take over control with Siggy she is also seeking for revenge and want to regain power that is why she betray Rollo with King Horik. When Siggy finds out Floki doesn't like the way Ragnar is behaving she will get him more close to King Horik. Due to this alliance King Horik thinks he is safe in Kattegat. After a while he set up a plan with both Floki and Siggy to kill the children of Ragnar. He himself will kill Ragnar. He got killed by Ragnar.

King Horik in the real history was a Danish King first as co ruler. He is the one who actually lived in the time Ragnar raid on Paris. He disapproved it.

Rollo is the brother of Ragnar who lives in the city Kattegat. When Ragnar said they would be equals. Something Rollo believes in. Unfortunately something that would never happen during both seasons. In order to be equals with his brother he takes the chance to join the army of Jarl Borg. Rollo betrays Ragnar at the end of season 1. When he comes back in season 2 he kills Arne and badly wound Floki. He then gets a trail and is degraded by everyone except for Siggy. Rollo feels himself empty when he is back in Kattegat. He wish they had killed him. When he ask Ragnar to forgive him he first isn’t allowed to go on raid. He is one of the people behind the betray to Jarl Borg. He disguise King Horik because he is having a splendid time with Siggy. When he found out that she is doing it with King Horik he want him dead. In one of the last episode he had an big accident in the last he was recovering fron that we don't know what will happen next to him.

In history Rollo was better known as Rollo the Walker or Rollo the Viking. He started to raid in France and became the duke of Normandy. He was baptised Robert. Like we saw in the series. Rollo is Latin for Hrólfr. They still debate if he is Norwegian or from Denmark. He is also the one who besieges Paris. He is the great-great-great grandfather of William the Qonqueror.
