Bjorn son of Lagertha and Ragnar, brother of Gyda. When we first see Bjorn he is 12 and ready to receive his arm ring. After that he is introduced to Floki the boat builder. Bjorn is partly raised by Athelstan the slave and monk who took care of them when Lagertha and Ragnar are raiding in England.

Bjorn is also the discoverer of the attack Earl Haraldson did on the village. When Ragnar is badly wounded we see Bjorn running to Floki to get help for his dad. After he comes with his dad to raid his first time he found out that Ragnar and Aslaug are having a relationship he is angry at Ragnar.

While Bjorn is not to tell his mom Lagertha. Lagertha found out that Ragnar cheated on her and Bjorn tells her the whole story. Bjorn’s big decision is yet to come with a lot of pressure he choose to stay with his dad because of the pressure they have given him. After he made his choice he inmiddetly starts to run after his mom he chose to go with Lagertha. After they left it will be the end of Young Bjorn.

Is an Irish actor born 17 March 1998. Played in Borgias before he stars in Vikings and does play in Penny Dreadful. He is an child actor and still at school.

Hail Vikingfans

After the success of Vikings season 1 and the DVD/Blu Ray of the series. In March we saw the new season opening of Vikings season 2. Today I found out that the DVD and Blu Ray from season 2 will come out on 7 October 2014 in the USA in Europe this will be 3 November 2014.

Vikings season 1 recap

We see Ragnar and his family brother Rollo, wife Lagertha and his kids Bjorn and Gyda on the farm. We meet Floki the boat builder and his girlfriend Helga. The madly powered Earl Haraldson who has one thing he would like most killing Ragnar because he has different ideas on sailing and navigating his lovely wife Siggy. After they raid they come back with a monk called Athelstan. When Earl Haraldson decided that he want to kill Ragnar he tricked Ragnar and badly wound him to dead. Ragnar finds out Rollo at the earl who tortured him to tell the hiddingplace of Ragnar, Ragnar wants a dual from men to men. After a duel with Earl Haraldson Ragnar became earl and started to live in Kattegat he decided to go to raid again. Lagertha get a miscarriage. In the first series Gyda died due to the plague.

Viking season 2 recap

We will see the game between characters with words and without. Raiding started to get better. Great battle scene to start with. A marriage and lot of tricks of illusions. Wrong ideas and wrong explanations all to get us on the wrong foot about a few roles. Did we know how Floki would trick us. The outcome is great and surprisingly different from we thought it would be.

With season 3 date to come soon it will be in March I think. We can’t wait for the next season. While waiting for this we are able to see, catch up on, and not have to miss them because they are on DVD/Blu Ray with season 2.

King Horik

When we first meet King Horik it is halfway through season 1 in Upsalla. King Horik is at that time King of Denmark. He is not the first one who will betray Earl Ragnar. He is seeking an alliance with Ragnar first when he is in continuous war with Jarl Borg. He will betray Ragnar after a while because of power he sees Ragnar is influential and want something different than he does. He start to alliance with Jarl Borg because the only thing he wants to see is Ragnar dead.

When Ragnar Blood Eagled Jarl Borg King Horik disguise him for his action and start to take over control with Siggy she is also seeking for revenge and want to regain power that is why she betray Rollo with King Horik. When Siggy finds out Floki doesn't like the way Ragnar is behaving she will get him more close to King Horik. Due to this alliance King Horik thinks he is safe in Kattegat. After a while he set up a plan with both Floki and Siggy to kill the children of Ragnar. He himself will kill Ragnar. He got killed by Ragnar.

King Horik in the real history was a Danish King first as co ruler. He is the one who actually lived in the time Ragnar raid on Paris. He disapproved it.

Donal is one of the cast members of the following TV series. Copper, Sons of Anarchy, Law and order, Vikings and is filing Gotham at the moment who will premiere in a week’s time. Is already 24 years in the TV and film business. Is born in Canada.

1 week till Gotham

We are one week ahead before the Fall TV premiere of Gotham. 

From what I saw in trailers and exclusive clips I want this show to come to the Netherlands.

Finally we get to see how Gotham became Gotham and how the main characters develop into the villains and hero's of this time.

Not a film but a good TV serie by  Fox. We will meet both detectives, The Joker, Pinquin, and many more. We see Ben mc Kanzie in the role as detective James Gorden and one of Vikings main cast King Horik season 1 and 2 Donal Logue will play Detective Harvey Bullock.

Rollo is the brother of Ragnar who lives in the city Kattegat. When Ragnar said they would be equals. Something Rollo believes in. Unfortunately something that would never happen during both seasons. In order to be equals with his brother he takes the chance to join the army of Jarl Borg. Rollo betrays Ragnar at the end of season 1. When he comes back in season 2 he kills Arne and badly wound Floki. He then gets a trail and is degraded by everyone except for Siggy. Rollo feels himself empty when he is back in Kattegat. He wish they had killed him. When he ask Ragnar to forgive him he first isn’t allowed to go on raid. He is one of the people behind the betray to Jarl Borg. He disguise King Horik because he is having a splendid time with Siggy. When he found out that she is doing it with King Horik he want him dead. In one of the last episode he had an big accident in the last he was recovering fron that we don't know what will happen next to him.

In history Rollo was better known as Rollo the Walker or Rollo the Viking. He started to raid in France and became the duke of Normandy. He was baptised Robert. Like we saw in the series. Rollo is Latin for Hrólfr. They still debate if he is Norwegian or from Denmark. He is also the one who besieges Paris. He is the great-great-great grandfather of William the Qonqueror.
